31-Year Old Connecticut Man Die in Motorcycle Crash




A 31-year old Hamden man died in a motorcycle crash in New Haven, Connecticut on Monday, January 7 at approximately 2:00 p.m.

About the Accident

 

Officials reported that Howard Lee Jones II was riding his 2010 Kawasaki ZX1000 when he collided with an SUV, and was thrown off of his motorcycle. Jones was wearing a helmet, gloves, and other appropriate riding gear, but according to WTNH, Jones underwent traumatic cardiac at the scene, and was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
The SUV, a 2003 Volvo XC90, was driven by a 34-year-old woman identified as Adrienne De Barros. However, authorities have not determined who was at fault, and the accident is still under investigation.
