A father and his 7-year old son
died in a motorcycle accident New Years day.
About the Accident
Just after 5 p.m., the father and
son were riding a motorcycle near the intersection of Berger Street and Sara
Drive in Austin, TX, when the motorcycle crashed into a car parked along the
side of the road.
The man died on impact, and the
child was later pronounced dead at Dell Children’s Medical Center. According to
the police, the father and the child were not wearing helmets.
These are the first two
traffic-related fatalities of 2013 to have occurred in Austin, TX.
