Young Houstonian Dies in Motorcycle Crash



A 22-year old Houstonian died in a motorcycle accident Saturday.

About the Accident

 

The 22-year old young man was riding at around 4 p.m. on the northbound ramp on Highway 225 near the South Loop in southeast Houston. According to the Houston Police Department, the young man hit the right side wall on the ramp after he lost control of his bike due to traveling at a high rate of speed. Thereafter, he fell over the railing, and died at the scene of the accident, according to authorities. Traffic traveling eastbound was stalled for approximately two hours until the scene was cleared.
